So for my first few blog entries I’ll be updating you all on my trip to Nairobi, Kenya. As part of my internship with Great Commission Ministries (GCM) this summer I will be leaving for Kenya on May 9th - 29th with New Life church. While in Kenya we will be visiting several orphanages, building chicken farms for local Kenyans, traveling around Nairobi and living life with Kenyans. It’s just crazy what God has done in a year. So before I leave tomorrow (flight leaves at 6:00pm) I want to again ask for your prayers for safety and to thank you all for your support and love throughout my support raising process. It's incredible that God has helped me raise $9,511 for my trip to Kenya and my internship with GCM this summer. I am super excited to see what God has in store for my life this summer and for the lives of others. Going to Kenya is truly an answer to prayer and I am super pumped to see what God has in store.
